What is Seoul?
Mimesis is a part of the nature of Koreans. Idols, plastic surgery and cosmetology, careerism, everyone wants to seem successful. May it be a reason why my photos from Seoul look like cinema?
Duality is the basis of cinema. Cinema in Seoul is everywhere. The city is inhabited by heroes and shadows, and the scene is a futuristic metropolis drowning in haze when you look from above, a chaotic city with narrow streets filled with steam from dumplings, when you look from below.
Or maybe it's just me?
